My name is Jasper, I am thirty years old and I have a degree in LIterature&Film Studies and am moving to Vienna in February to continue my education with a Master's in English literature. I have worked as a paralegal and an editor and am looking forward to broaden my horizon moving to Europe.

I am in search of a living situation which will introduce me to people outside of the normal reach of the dorms. I am clean and independent and personable, and have experience living with many different people, from different backgrounds, in differing circumstances: I have lived in shared apartments in California and New York, visited my girlfriend in Germany for three months before and took part in exchanges living in India and Argentina for several months. Together with my girlfriend, I couchsurfed at different people's places, which was a very enriching experience.

Around the house I like cooking, chatting, reading, tidying up, and watching the occasional movie or TV show, when I am not working at my studies.

I do not smoke, nor drink. I like cats as well as dogs. I really mostly spend my time reading, going for walks or working out. I speak English and Spanish, can understand a bit of German already and intend to take an intensive course at the university.

I do not mind living off the city center, as long as I can reach the university by public transport -- I am happy.
